Installation Instructions

Rhino 8

  1. Run the PackageManager command in Rhino 8

  2. Look for PlanFinder

  3. Install PlanFinder

  4. Restart Rhino

Rhino 7

  1. Unzip the PlanFinder.zip package

  2. Run the planfinder.rhi installer, found at PlanFinder/PlanFinderRhino

  3. Restart Rhino

Grasshopper

  1. Right-click on the PlanFinder.zip, go to Properties -> Unblock -> Apply

  2. Unzip the PlanFinder.zip package

  3. Open Grasshopper

  4. Go to File->Special Folders->Components Folder

  5. Move the entire PlanFinderGH folder into the components folder

  6. Start Rhino

  7. Run the "GrasshopperDeveloperSettings" command in Rhino and turn off "Memory load *.GHA assemblies using COFF byte arrays"

  8. Start Grasshopper

Revit

  1. Right-click on the PlanFinder.zip, go to Properties -> Unblock -> Apply

  2. Unzip the PlanFinder.zip package

  3. Close Revit

  4. Run PlanFinder.exe, found at PlanFinder/PlanFinderRevit

  5. Restart Revit
